Environment
Our goal is to provide you with a most memorable experience. While in the spa treatment areas, we request that you keep your voice low and minimize your conversation. Take the time during your service to relax and de-stress. Let yourself go. Quiet time is the time to focus on you.
Prices
A Calming Touch is part of the Pamper Group and is one of three spas in Steamboat Springs. Each spa has a different pricing structure and you may want to visit with us at another location. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Services that are already discounted or specially promoted will not be discounted any further. Please confirm prices for your services when booking your appointment.
Arrival Time
Please arrive, at least 15-20 minutes before you first service is schedules to begin.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your service, we reserve the right to modify the actual service time or completely eliminate your service based on our pre-booked appointment schedule. If a service is eliminated, we reserve the right to charge full price for the service as the staff and the time had been reserved in advance.
Cancellations/No-Show
Cancellations are sometimes necessary however your time at A Calming Touch Day Spa has been reserved for you. Guests canceling less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the scheduled service regardless of the reason for cancellation. A no-show will be charged 100% of the scheduled service for each guest booked.
Deposits
Some appointments are subject to a deposit fee. Deposits are non-refundable.
Medical Restrictions
Please inform us if you are pregnant or are currently undergoing treatment for cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure or any condition that may limit the ability to receive a treatment. Some of the services and products used may interfere with your condition and we would therefore like to adjust the service and/or recommend an alternative service specifically for you.
Open Dialogue with Your Service Provider
Our therapists are highly trained and strive to provide each guest with a memorable experience, however, they are not mind readers. If you are experiencing discomfort or would like to focus on specific areas or have a question, please communicate with your therapist, esthetician or technician. The ability to communicate will make your experience much more enjoyable.!
Confidentiality
All identifying and medical information is used for the sole purpose of making contact with the client and modification of spa services where clinically indicated. Under no circumstances is client information released or transferred to any other person, entity or business.
Payment
We accept, MasterCard, American Express, Visa, Discover, Personal checks with 2 forms of ID. We accept Spa Finder (w/ a 7% processing fee). We do not issue cash refunds for remaining balances on a Gift Certificate.
Products
All skin care, body, hair and makeup products sales are final. Clothing can be exchanged within 24 hours. Once you have returned home, if you would like to order additional product, feel free to contact us directly at (970) 819-7612 or via e-mail at pam@pampergroup.com.
Service
At our discretion in the interest of maintaining a harmonious environment, we reserve the right to provide or deny services at will.
Privacy & Modesty
Our entire spa services with the exception of our nails are preformed in private treatment rooms. During spa services, you will be completely covered with only the area receiving attentions left exposed. You will be recovered as the therapist moves on to another area of attention.
Gratuities
For your convenience, our desk staff will include a 15% gratuity on your bill at the end of service. 15% is the industry standard for personal services. If you would like to increase or decrease the gratuity amount, please notify our desk staff at the time of check out. Gratuities may be paid for by cash, check or credit card. A gift certificate may also be used for a gratuity.
Locker Rooms
Only at our Mountain Location. When booking two or more treatments, we will have you slip into a cozy robe and slippers.
Showers
Please inform us if you want a shower pre/post service. Due to our space limitations only a few of our treatment rooms have showers. If showering is a last minute need, we will do our best to accommodate you and your shower will be with-in your allotted time reserved.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates have an expiration of five years from the first date of purchase. Gift certificates must be presented at the time of service. We only honor gift certificates issued by the Pamper Group. Cash will not be given back on a gift certificate. We do not accept gift certificates offered through Steamboat Resorts, Steamboat Ski Corporation or the City Chamber.
Room Charges
We are unable to charge your room at the Eagle Ridge Lodge or any other Steamboat Resort property.
Facility
Our facility on the mountain includes a locker room, shower, steam sauna and jacuzzi. You may utilize these only within the scope of receiving your personal service at the spa. Guests who over stay their welcome may be asked to leave the premises at the discretion of the spa or Steamboat Resorts staff.
